HITACHI ZX-5 Excavator No Load Max Differential Pressure Measurement Guide

This instruction show you guide on how to perform No load max differential pressure measurement for HITACHI ZX-5 excavator.

Measurement of No Load Max differential pressure can be done.
When the fault code of ECM muffler filter PM Over-Restriction is displayed, check the muffler filter condition by measuring

No Load Max differential pressure.
Check the muffler filter condition.
Refer to the Technical Manual (Troubleshooting).
1. Click the [[F] No Load Max Differential Pressure Measurement] button.

2.Measure the differential pressure by following the procedure displayed on the monitor screen.

Step 1: Warm the engine.

Raise the boom and relief at arm crowd end. Bring the Coolant Temperature to

70 deg.C or more,the MF Filter Inlet Temperature to 200 deg.C or more.

 

Step 2:

Turn the engine control dial to LOW.

Raise the Pilot Control Shut-Off Lever.

Turn OFF Auto Idle.

Turn OFF Auto Shut-Down.

 

Step 3:

Wait until the MF Filter Inlet Temperature is 140 deg.C or less.

 

Step 4:

Bring the Actual Engine Speed to 1700min-1.Wait until the MF Filter Inlet

Temperature is 150 deg.C or more

 

Completion:

The measurement task is now complete.

Return Auto Idle. Auto Shut-Down and Power Mode switching settings to the original. This completes the task.
