Benz W222 HU5 Video In Motion Coding by Vediamo

Here I want to show the procedures on how to use Vediamo perform Video In Motion coding for Benz W222.In this article I take a Mercedes Benz W222 from 10-2016 as example.

 

Comand head unit installed:

 

What You Need:

For the coding I used Vediamo software

CBF file HU5.CBF

 

 

Procedures:

For video in motion above 5 kph by default there is no selection possible to select “Enable” as with all the other settings so you have to do some manual coding on the second Byte.

First select “VCD_Driver_Distraction_ECE_USA_CHN”.

Enter decimal value 068 on the second (byte) position and click on the button “ECU-Coding”

Video in motion is now Enabled without making use of a can bus filter.

If you use DTS Monaco (I think) you have to enter a HEX value so that must be 44.

 

Comand start-up screen

For another Comand start-up screen you change “VCD_Several_Applications” the setting “Cl Screen”;

Type 1: “Mercedes”

Type 2: “AMG”

Type 3: “MAYBACH”

Type 4: “AMG”
