BMW F15 Air Conditioner Error with P110F Code Repair

BMW F15 air conditioner can not work,and the dashboard show temperature 50+℃,high frequency of non-cooling working.

Trouble Code:

P110F: Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Faulty CAN Signal

 

Possible Causes:

Faulty Ambient Air Temperature Sensor

Ambient Air Temperature Sensor harness is open or shorted

Ambient Air Temperature Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

 

Diagnostics and analysis:

1 Use multimeter to measure related wire diagram,work!

2 Disconnect dashboard connector to measure resistance 3.5K,it is normal

3 Both 1 and 2 measurement indicate the dashboard is damaged can not work well

 

Solution:

1 Remove dashboard,and check PCB

2 There are two places corroded by water

3 Resolder the places that corroded
