Bobcat 3450 Utility Vehicle Throttle Pedal Removal & Installation Guide

This illustration show you guide on how to remove and install throttle pedal for Bobcat 3450 utility vehicle.

 

Procedures:

Compress the tabs (Item 1) and remove the cable from the slot (Item 2)

Remove the clip (Item 1) and remove the plastic bushing (Item 2)

Lift the spring (Item 1) and remove the pedal assembly (Item 2) from the machine.

Remove the plastic bushing (Item 1) from the shaft.

Remove the clip (Item 1) and washer (Item 2)

Lift the spring (Item 1) and remove the pedal (Item 2).

Check all components for wear or damage and replace as needed.

Remove the seat.

Compress the tabs (Item 1) and remove the cable through the slot (Item 2)

Compress the tabs (Item 1) and feed the cable through the hole.

Loosen the nut (Item 1) and remove the cable (Item 2) from the bracket.

Disconnect the cable end (Item 3) from the speed control.

Remove the screws (Item 1) and remove the floor cover (Item 2) from the vehicle.

Remove all tie straps (Item 1) securing the cable (Item 2).

Remove the speed control cable.

Installation: Secure the cable with new tie straps.

After installing the throttle cable, the throttle freeplay must be checked.
