Preparations:
Measured DEF tank level sensor voltage is above normal operating range
Diagnosis and solution
Clear the error log.
Restart the engine module.
If the fault code occurs again during the next driving cycle, check the following.
Make sure the DEF tank is full.
Check the DEF tank level sensor harness. Make sure the connections are good and the contacts are clean.
Replace the DEF tank level sensor. If the system is correct and the fault code is not active, the original sensor is bad.
Measured DEF tank level sensor voltage is below normal operating range
Diagnosis and solution
Clear the error log.
Restart the engine module.
If the fault code shows again during the next driving cycle, check the following.
Check the DEF tank level sensor harness. Make sure the connections are good and the contacts are clean.
Replace the DEF tank level sensor. If the system is correct and the fault code is not active, the original sensor is bad.
