Error identification
The voltage has been too high.
Cause
Fault in alternator or control unit.
Notes
The auxiliary heater has been switched off because the voltage to the control unit was too high.
Action
Check the voltage supply. Measuring points 1 and 9 in the harness-to-harness connector from the auxiliary heater toward the vehicle cable harness.
If the voltage is above 30 V, check the alternator.
If the voltage is below 30 V, renew the control unit.
Check harness-to-harness connectors and cable harnesses.
Clear the fault code and test run the auxiliary heater and vehicle.
