This instruction show you guide on how to calibrate angle sensor for JCB 3CX/4CX/5CX backhoe loader.The procedure outlined below describes how to calibrate the chassis angle sensor and the mast angle sensor on the JCB Pilemaster machine. This process does not require any additional tooling or diagnostics equipment and is carried out through the rear display service menu.

Procedures:
Angle Sensor Calibration Procedure
1 Ensure that all of the emergency stop buttons are ‘out’ and have not been pressed.
2 Turn the machine’s ignition ON.
3 Ensure the rear display is ON and wait for the drill information screen to show.
Note: if the rear display does not switch ON, re-check the emergency stop buttons.
4 Press the UP or DOWN arrow to access the angle information screen.
5 Press and hold the F1 button. Wait 5 seconds and the display should show the angle calibration selection screen.
6 The sensors are selectable by pressing the UP and DOWN arrows.
7 To calibrate the selected sensor, press the OK button. A confirmation screen will show.
8 Press the F2 button and the sensor will be calibrated. Pressing the F3 button will abort the process.
9 Once the sensor has been configured (or aborted), the display will return to the angle calibration selection screen.
10 To calibrate another sensor, repeat steps 6-10.
11 To return to the angle information screen, press and hold F1. Wait 3 seconds and the display will show the angle information screen
