Possible Cause:

1 Engine oil pressure practically low.

2 Engine oil pressure sensor not connected to machine wire harness before starting to engine.

3 Low oil pressure sensor wire harness faulty.

4 Low oil pressure switch faulty.

5 Low Oil pressure switch ignition fuse blown OFF.

 

Diagnosis:

1 Check the oil level in the oil sump.

2 Check the wire harness connection connected with Low oil pressure switch.

3 Low oil pressure switch wire harness connector short circuited. Check the power supply on the low oil pressure switch circuit no 4039 after disconnecting the low oil pressure switch from wire harness.

4 Check the low oil pressure switch connectivity on its terminal at ignition ON & at engine running. At engine running oil pressure switch contacts shall be OPEN not NORMALY CLOSE.

5 Check the 3A fuse on the revolver harness fuse box.

Corrective Action:

1 Top-up the engine oil if required.

2 Connect the oil pressures switch to wire harness.

3 Replace the wire harness or correct the wire harness fault.

4 Replace the pressures switch if found faulty.

5 Replace the 3A Fuse if blown OFF.
