Toyota RAV4 G Chip All Key Lost Programming (Work for All 72G)

This article share a Toyota key programming on how to program new keys for RAV4 G chip all key lost,and this method can work on all Toyota 72G keys car models.

 

This method call write initialization data,it need to modify the immobilize data to factory initialization state,then learn keys.And for more key programming,check here:Auto key programming and for all key lost programming.

 

Procedures:

Step 1:Remove Immobilize Box

The immo box locate behind the instrument cluster evaporator,it is a little bit difficult for new beginner to pull it out,you may need some tool to hook it out.

 

The immo box model is 89780-0R040,put the immo PCB out of the immo box and locate 93C66 chip on PCB and use electric soldering iron to remove the 93C66 chip from PCB.

 

Step 2:Modify the immo data to initialized status.

Use programmer to read out the immo data from 93C66 chip,and modify the data file as below:

1.Modify line from 000 to 0E0 all digit to 4754 (depend on first and second bytes of 000 line )

2.Modify the line 100 7^th byte to line 120 4^th byte to 4754

3.Modify the line 1A0 7^th byte to line 1C0 4^th byte to 4754

 

After modifying immo data,write the data file into 93C66 chip,and solder 93C66 chip back on immo box PCB,then install it on Toyota RAV4.

 

Step 3:Program New Keys

After you installing immo box,the security light will flash,now we need to plug G key into ignition,the security light will flash once and then light on,it suggest that the first key programmed successfully.Insert the second key,the security light will flash twice and then light on.If you don’t need to program the third key,just insert the second key ignition and pull it out,repeat this procedures 5 times to close programming key progress.

 

Step 4:Synchronize ECU

Use a wire connect pin 4 and pin 13 of OBD port and use the programmed key to switch ignition to ON position.Then wait about 4-5 minutes,and now turn ignition to OFF position,and take out the wire you connect on pin 4 and pin 13 of OBD port.

 

Remote Function Matching by Manually

1.Open the driver side,and close other doors

2.Insert key into ignition and then pull it out,repeat this procedures twice

3.Close the door,then open twice

4.Insert key into ignition and then pull it out,repeat this procedures once

5.Close the door,then open twice

6.Insert key into ignition and close door.Turn ignition to ON position and turn back to Lock position,pull key out of ignition.Then the door lock will perform lock and unlock once.

7.Press “LOCK” and “UNLOCK” together 1s-1.5s

8.If the remote matching successfully,the door lock will perform “lock” and “unlock” once,if matching fail perform the action twice.

9.Open the door,it will exit remote matching mode automatically.
