Volvo PTT Calibrate Injectors Trim Codes

In this article i want to share the guide on how to use Volvo Premium Tech Tool to calibrate injector trim codes.How to Apply Injector Trim Code Using Volvo PTT Scan Tool

 

 

Preparations:

2024 Volvo  TechTool PTT 2.8.241 APCI 0.7.1.0/2.7.116 All Version Free Download

Volvo Diagnostic Kit (88890300)

Volvo VOCOM 88890300 Diagnostic Kit

 

Procedures:

Connect Volvo PTT interface to vehicle,run Volvo PTT and login with user ID and password

Enter a work order number or select a recently used work order number in the list.

Here,enter “njctsb” and click “Start Work” to continue

Then click “Calibrate”

Select “Engine,Engine mounting and equipment”–>”Fuel system”–>”2371-07-03-01 injectors”

Click “Start” to continue

Select B “Special tool 88890187 Barcode Scanner”,click “Continue”

Note:All Common Rail Engine (US17 emissions and newer) will be using the F2 Injectors,they are 38 character trim codes.Barcode Scanner part #88890187 is not available through Part Order.Visit www.preminmtechtool.com for a list of approved Barcode Scanner.

Option A manual entry is ideal with US16 and older vehicle.They are 9 character injectors trim codes.

Volvo PTT will check conditions automatically,then you click “Continue” to process

Connect special tool 88890187 barcode scanner to laptop by USB port,and press continue to proceed

Example shown is connected to a US17 emissions vehicle

Clear previous code,when scanned using the scan tool a 56 character string length will displayed in the injector field.The extra characters will be removed during programming.

Note:For US16 emission and older,when scanned,a 39 character trim code will display in the injector field.The extra characters will be removed during programming.The 9 character trim code will display on the Result screen.

Repeat this step for other injectors.

Click “Program” button to start all injector trim code to the Engine control module.

Then click “Continue” to proceed

Click “OK” option on the Test result field,then click “Continue” proceed.
