ZF Failure number: 005

Failure description: Error on “Rear axle, right wheel speed”

Failure detection: CAN-Signal Error Indicator

ZF-internal name: e_vRearRight_ERR

ZF-internal type: DI_ET_INVALID_SIGNAL

System reaction: ErrorLevel 1

Failure reset condition: No Failure Signal

If failure reset condition is fulfilled: System reaction is reset after ignition off

Signal path: CAN connection, ABS, EDC

Pertained component: CAN connection, ABS, EDC

 

Steps to repair:

Failure Number: 005 e_vRearRight_ERR

Step 1:Check CAN connection,if CAN connection work well.

Yes,go to step 2

No,repair CAN connection

 

Step 2:Check ABS sensor,if it work well

Yes,go to step 3

No,repair ABS sensor

 

Step 3:Check EDC

Failure description: Error on “Rear axle, left wheel speed”

Failure detection: CAN-Signal Error Indicator

ZF-internal name: e_vRearLeft_ERR

ZF-internal type: DI_ET_INVALID_SIGNAL

System reaction: Error Level 1

Failure reset condition: No Failure Signal

 

If failure reset condition is fulfilled:

Signal path: CAN connection, ABS, EDC

Steps to repair:

Failure Number: 006 e_vRearLeft_ERR

Step 1:Check CAN connection,if CAN connection work well.

Yes,go to step 2

No,repair CAN connection

 

Step 2:Check ABS sensor,if it work well

Yes,go to step 3

No,repair ABS sensor

 

Step 3:Check EDC

Failure description: Error on “Front axle, right wheel speed”

Failure detection: CAN-Signal Error Indicator

ZF-internal name: e_vRearRight_ERR

ZF-internal type: DI_ET_INVALID_SIGNAL

System reaction: ErrorLevel 0

Failure reset condition: No Failure Signal

If failure reset condition is fulfilled: System reaction is reset after ignition off
